Bestpitch Ferry Boat Ramp
A remote landing on the Transquaking River at the eastern edge of the Blackwater marshes, reached by the gravel and asphalt Bestpitch Ferry Road. The one-lane bridge and the ramp beside it give an open view across an uninterrupted sweep of marsh grass. A useful stop to actually get out of the car on a section of route that otherwise passes through the wetlands at speed.
