Birdwood
An 1830 plantation house on a rise above the golf course that now carries its name, restored and reopened as a small luxury hotel and restaurant. The exterior and grounds are the visual anchor of the whole Boar's Head estate, and the restoration was done with unusual care for the site's full history, including the families whose enslaved labour built it.
