Family-run eco-tour operator departing from Dana Point Harbor — self-billed as the flagship of "the Dolphin & Whale Watching Capital of the World®." Trips run year-round aboard uncrowded, low-to-the-water catamarans and a high-speed Zodiac, with expert naturalists narrating live.

The signature draw is genuinely one of a kind: the 50-foot catamaran Manute'a is fitted with two Eye-to-Eye Underwater Viewing Pods and Eye-Spy tram nets on the bow, letting guests get face-to-face with dolphins and whales without getting wet. An onboard micro-museum displays whale and dolphin artifacts, and every trip ends with Mrs. Capt. Dave's triple-fudge brownies.

What you'll see: year-round humpback, fin, and minke whales; gray whales (Dec–Apr); blue whales (May–Nov); plus sea lions, sharks, seabirds, and mega-pods of common dolphins that can number in the thousands.
