Chiles Peach Orchard and Farm Market
The Crozet outpost of a farming family that has worked Albemarle County land for more than a century. Peaches are the headline act — pick-your-own from roughly June through September — with strawberries in spring, blueberries and blackberries in summer, and apples, sunflowers and pumpkins carrying it into December.
The farm market handles the rest: cider donuts, homemade ice cream, pies, fudge, and a small wine bar pouring the family's own bottles. Weekends bring live music in the courtyard and, in autumn, wagon rides and apple butter stirred the slow way.
The setting is the quiet part: orchard rows running toward the Blue Ridge, with far less traffic than the mountaintop orchards closer to Charlottesville. Closed in the deep winter months.
