A wide, sparkling beach beside the Hotel del Coronado, consistently rated among the best in the United States for its golden sand and gentle surf. Great for swimming, sandcastles, and sunset strolls. Note that occasional water-quality advisories can occur from the Tijuana River outflow - check posted signs.
