Disneyland Park

The original Disney theme park, opened in 1955 and the only one Walt Disney saw completed in his lifetime. Eight themed lands radiate out from the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, anchored by classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Practical: Expect long lines on weekends and holidays; arrive at rope drop and budget a full day. Genie+ / Lightning Lane can cut wait times. Parking is at the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals structures with tram service to the esplanade.
