Eastern Shore Railway Museum

Parksley exists because the railway came through in 1884, and the museum sits in the original station with rolling stock parked outside: a caboose, a maintenance car, a 1927 Pullman. The line carried Eastern Shore produce and seafood north to New York and fed the ferries at Cape Charles until the bridge-tunnel ended all of it.

Small, volunteer-run, and the sort of place where someone will tell you more than the labels do. The surrounding village of Victorian frame houses is worth a slow loop by car.
