Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center (Everglades Main Entrance)

The main gateway to Everglades National Park, just west of Homestead. Orientation exhibits, a short park film and rangers who can tell you where the wildlife has been that week. No entrance fee is required to visit the center itself; the fee station sits a little further down the park road.

Use it as the launch point for Royal Palm and the Anhinga Trail (four miles in), and for the 38-mile drive to Flamingo on Florida Bay.
