Giganticus Headicus
A 14-foot lime-green head — part Easter Island moai, part tiki god — grinning at the roadside at Antares Point on Historic Route 66. Built in 2004 by artist Gregg Arnold, it's become one of the Mother Road's favorite photo stops. Behind it sits a quirky gift shop (Route 66 souvenirs, centennial coins, cold drinks) alongside a scatter of old cars and oddball desert art. A fun five-minute pull-off on the lonely high-desert stretch between Kingman and Hackberry — pure Route 66 kitsch.
