Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort

A large waterfront resort on the Choptank River outside Cambridge, opened in 2002 and widely credited with rehabilitating the town as a tourism destination. It combines a golf course, marina, spa and conference facilities on a broad river frontage, and has hosted both George W. Bush and Barack Obama on multiple occasions. Even for non-guests the setting is the draw: long lawns running down to the water and open Chesapeake light.
