IX Art Park
A free outdoor art park on a former industrial site just south of downtown, filled with large-scale murals, sculpture, mosaic, and installations that change as artists cycle through. There is a sand pit for children in the middle, food and drink around the edges, and a weekly farmers market that draws half the city and, apparently, most of its dogs.
Inside the complex sits The Looking Glass, a ticketed immersive art experience built as a walk-through of glow-in-the-dark rooms, hidden details, and a scavenger hunt — silly, well made, and better than it sounds.
Practical
The outdoor park is open around the clock and free. The Looking Glass runs limited hours (typically evenings on weekdays, afternoons and evenings at weekends) and costs about $15.
