Boutique hotel on Capitol Hill, one block from Union Station and a short walk to the Capitol and the Mall. Bright, playful design with a George Washington theme, a well regarded bar and restaurant, and the usual Kimpton extras such as an evening wine hour and loaner bikes. Valet parking only, as with most Capitol Hill hotels. A good step up from the chain hotels without going to full luxury prices.
