Lakepoint Park

A tidy lakeside park on the northeastern shore of Lake Elsinore, with green lawns, shade trees, a short walking loop, ball fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Set slightly above the water, it offers an easy, elevated view across the lake to the Santa Ana Mountains — a pleasant, low-effort place to stretch your legs and take in the lake before the Ortega Highway climb west.

Note: the view is the draw here; direct water access is limited (fenced in parts). Plenty of free parking.
