Melissa Morgan Sculpture Garden
A free, half-acre open-air sculpture garden on El Paseo, Palm Desert's upscale shopping street, run by the nearby Melissa Morgan Fine Art gallery. The garden functions as both a public art space and an outdoor showroom, featuring large-scale contemporary works — bronze figures, geometric mirror pieces, and interactive installations — each with a QR-coded plaque linking to artist information.
Highlights include Anthony James's mirrored Portal Icosahedron, Steve Tobin's Steelroots, and the chalk-covered US OF LOVE participation wall. Several pieces are illuminated after dark, making an evening stroll worthwhile. It's a compact stop rather than a destination in itself, but pairs perfectly with dinner or shopping along El Paseo. Dog-friendly and open to the public year-round.
