Millers Head Overlook

A stone observation platform reached by a 1.3 km trail from the Skyland amphitheatre parking area, offering a roughly 160-degree view west and south over the Shenandoah Valley. The trail runs downhill the whole way out, which makes the return the harder half.

The view is narrower than Stony Man's and hemmed in by forest along the approach, but the platform is walled and the trail is far quieter — a good choice if the summit parking is overflowing.
