Mimslyn Inn
A grand Colonial Revival hotel from 1931 set on a rise above West Main Street, with white columns, a sweeping lawn, and the kind of lobby that still feels like the golden age of American motoring. It has hosted its share of notable guests over the decades, including First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.
Even if you aren't staying, the grounds and public rooms are worth a look, and the Speakeasy restaurant in the basement is one of the better dinner options in Luray.
