Moormans River Overlook

An eastward overlook in the southern district looking down the Moormans River valley toward the Piedmont Uplands of Albemarle County, with the low Southwest Mountains visible on the horizon in clear conditions. The first point on the drive where the landscape below stops being pure mountain country and starts looking like the farm-and-estate scenery around Charlottesville.
