Nantasket Beach
A 3.5-mile crescent of clean sand on the Hull peninsula facing the open Atlantic — one of Greater Boston's classic public beaches, backed by a seawall promenade and the restored 1928 Mediterranean-style bathhouse. Gentle slope and (relatively) warmer water than the North Shore make it family-friendly; the strip retains a nostalgic seaside-resort feel from Hull's amusement-park heyday. State-run parking lots line the beach.
