Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum

Housed in the 1891 life-saving station at the very southern tip of the boardwalk, this small museum covers the United States Life-Saving Service, local shipwrecks, the history of the resort and the 1933 hurricane that cut the inlet and separated Ocean City from Assateague Island. Exhibits include rescue equipment, a collection of antique bathing suits and a set of sand samples from beaches around the world.
