Oleta River State Park

Florida's largest urban state park, a mangrove-lined wedge of green between North Miami Beach high-rises. The draw is water: a sheltered lagoon beach with no waves, kayak and paddleboard rentals on the Oleta River, plus a surprisingly serious network of off-road bike trails. Rustic cabins can be booked overnight. Vehicle entry fee.
