Pa-hay-okee Overlook

A short boardwalk climbing to a raised platform above an ocean of sawgrass. This is the classic Everglades panorama: flat, green-gold prairie to every horizon, dotted with tree islands. Quick stop on the main park road, roughly halfway to Flamingo. Best light early morning or near sunset, when mosquitoes are also at their worst.
