Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

The world's largest rotating aerial tramway, climbing nearly 6,000 vertical feet from the desert floor to the pine forests of Mt. San Jacinto in about ten minutes. Cars rotate slowly for sweeping 360° views over the Coachella Valley, and the upper station opens onto cool alpine trails, dining, and winter snow play — a temperature drop of 30–40°F from base to summit.
