Herzog & de Meuron's bayfront museum of modern and contemporary art, with hanging gardens dangling from its vast overhanging roof and a deck facing the water. The collection leans into Latin American, Caribbean and African diaspora artists, which makes it feel specific to Miami rather than generic. The waterfront cafe and terrace are a destination in themselves. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday; free second Saturdays.
