Robert Reed Waterfront Park

A short strip of park along Main Street on the channel side of Chincoteague, with benches, a small pier and an unobstructed western view across the water. This is where the island watches the sun go down, and the marsh grass and moored boats do a lot of the work.

Ten minutes, free, central to the town restaurants.

Arrive about twenty minutes before sunset for the best of it.
