Sam Jones BBQ (Raleigh)

This is the second of only two branches of a local mini-chain barbecue restaurant. It’s located in an up-and-coming neighborhood and is known for its traditional Eastern North Carolina whole-hog barbecue. The business is run by third-generation pitmaster Sam Jones, who was inducted into the North Carolina Bar-B-Q Hall of Fame in 2024. It has also been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for offering high-quality food at a good value.
