Sandwich Boardwalk

Beloved wooden boardwalk crossing Mill Creek and the salt marsh to Town Neck Beach on Cape Cod Bay — one of the most photographed spots on the Upper Cape, especially at sunset and high tide. The original 1875-lineage boardwalk was demolished after storm damage and fully rebuilt, reopening in 2025 with an accessible design. Local kids jumping from the bridge into the creek at high tide is a summer tradition.
