Shenandoah River State Park
More than a mile and a half of South Fork Shenandoah frontage below the western wall of the Blue Ridge, with river access for paddlers and anglers, riverside meadows and about 24 miles of trail. The Cottonwood boardwalk runs flat and shaded along the water, while the Redtail Ridge and Culler's Overlook trails climb for long views up the valley. Campground, cabins and picnic areas on site; per-vehicle day-use fee.
