Solstice Canyon
A shaded, family-easy Malibu canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, a gentle 2.5-mile loop past a year-round stream to a small waterfall and the stone ruins of the fire-resistant Roberts Ranch house. Open 8 AM to sunset; parking fills early on weekends.
