The Draftsman, Charlottesville

A design-led hotel on West Main Street belonging to Marriott's Autograph Collection, built around a drafting and architecture theme that runs from the lobby through to the desks in the rooms. Its glassy street frontage is one of the more assertive pieces of recent architecture on the corridor, and the ground-floor bar is open to non-guests.
