The Painted Ladies
The Painted Ladies are a row of seven colorful Victorian houses on Steiner Street, overlooking Alamo Square Park. Built in the 1890s, they're famous for their pastel-colored exteriors and ornate detailing — and for appearing in the opening credits of the TV show Full House. With the San Francisco skyline as a backdrop, they're one of the most photographed spots in the city.
