USS Midway Museum

A retired aircraft carrier turned floating museum on the downtown waterfront, with restored aircraft on the flight deck and a self-guided audio tour through hangars, crew quarters, and the bridge. Many of the docents are veterans who served aboard carriers, adding firsthand stories. Allow two to three hours; it involves a lot of walking and stairs.
