The self-declared world's most famous Cuban restaurant, serving ropa vieja, vaca frita and croquetas under chandeliers and mirrored walls since 1971. The walk-up ventanita on the side is Miami's unofficial political forum, where exiles and every visiting candidate take a cafecito. Open early to past midnight; the bakery next door is the fast option when the dining room has a line. Cheap for what it is.
