Woods Hole Village
A tiny harbor village with an outsized global reputation: home to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (which found the Titanic wreck) and the Marine Biological Laboratory, making it one of the world's leading ocean-science hubs. Wander Water Street's cafés and the drawbridge over Eel Pond, visit the small free NOAA aquarium (one of the oldest in the country) and the WHOI discovery center, and watch the Martha's Vineyard ferries come and go. The Shining Sea Bikeway from Falmouth ends here along the shoreline.
