Woodstock Hall Tavern
A 1757 tavern on the old stage road west of Charlottesville, one of the oldest surviving buildings in Albemarle County and a rare survivor from the era when this was the main route across the Blue Ridge. Now a private residence, it is a roadside landmark to slow down for rather than a site to enter.
