Wynwood Walls

The outdoor street-art museum that turned a warehouse district into a global mural destination. Started by developer Tony Goldman in 2009, the walled compound holds large-scale works by dozens of international artists (Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf, Os Gemeos and others) that rotate over time, plus small indoor galleries. Ticketed, unlike the free murals covering the surrounding blocks. Go on a weekday morning to shoot the walls without crowds, then wander the neighborhood for the free stuff.
